I & II football playoff format I understand that all Region C schools have secured an open date on Week 12 (the final week of the regular season) so that there can be opening round playoff games (since the format has expanded from 4 to 6 teams.) From what I would assume, the #1 & 2 teams get a bye that week while 6 travels to 3 and 5 @ 4 (that is the straight forward part). My question is who then would play at the #1 seed the following week if there were any upsets? Is the #1 locked in to play the winner of 4 & 5 reguardless of what happens in the 3 & 6 game, or if the #6 wins at the #3 then would #1 host #6 since they are the lower remaining seed?
