tbgfan 856 Report Share Posted June 18, 2010 Posted in Bristol Herald Courier, June 17th Powell Valley High School's Tasha Trent has committed to play volleyball at UVA-Wise, completing the Highland Cavs' 2010 recruiting class. The 5-foot-11 Trent led the Vikings to back-to-back district championships. She was named the 2009 Lonesome Pine District Player of the Year, and was also selected first team all-district, first team all-region and honorable mention all-state in 2009. Trent also excelled in basketball and track at Powell Valley and was twice named the LPD female athlete of the year.
