2010 All-Clinch Mountain District Baseball Team

The Bearcats and Blue Devils swept the major honors on the All-Clinch Mountain District team.

 

Mark Daniels of Virginia High was selected as Coach of the Year after guiding the Bearcats (23-6) to the Region D championship and Group A state title game.

 

Wes Hughes of Gate City was tabbed as Player of the Year. The junior compiled an 8-0 pitching record with 70 strikeouts while hitting .452 with nine home runs and 46 RBIs.
