The former Chilhowie High School and Emory & Henry College standout was drafted by the Washington (Pa.) Wild Things on Tuesday in the fourth round of the Frontier League draft. Washington is an independent league team and opens the regular season on May 19 at Joliet, Ill. The Frontier League has teams in Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Missouri and Kentucky. A right-handed pitcher, Fenner went 2-5 with a 4.35 ERA this spring for E&H and was the ace of the pitching staff. Check back later for more on this story.
