With all the talk of Salem demise and Christiansburg dominance , Salem continues to be very consistent and holds a 18-3 all time won-loss record against Christiansburg . Salem has won 6 state titles since 1996 and 2 before that with Andrew Lewis . These are the won loss record off all River Ridge district teams since 2004 from Max Preps .

I am sure the last 2 region IV D4 trophies and the last 2 RR trophies mean a lot to Christiansburg's history. C-burg used to scrimmage Floyd and get hammered. I remember when they lost by 40 + points to single A Glenvar in 2001. They have come a long way.

 

It's hard to match Salem's tradition, at least in this area but no one stays on top forever.
