What bothers me the most about these discussions is how people work backwards when something like this happens. Only see the guns.

I would like to know what kind of meds this guy was on, nobody with any sense would do something like this. Had to have something that just erased his sence. Do something about these type drugs, flag people with mental records. Maybe require a drug test to purchase some types. The WORST problem in the US today is the drugs, look around you there are people dieing everywhere and not by a bullet from a gun.

Of the damage done have to wonder how much was done with the 870. The 870 has been around for right at 50 years, with "00" buck can cause as much damage as a AR in close order and by the way the AR is semi- auto not auto....

There are people out there that don't have enough knowlege to have a gun in public. But if a vet or off duty cop or a gun buff could have laid down some suppressive fire lifes and injures could have been saved, this guy didn't want to die or he would have fought it out with the cops, he would have ducked and cover giving more oppurtunity for escape..

 

When these nuts stop thinking there going to a turkey shoot and start thinking their the turkey that might get shot they will then have to look death in the face.
