SWCC Haunted Hall

Recommended Posts

I'm going to crosspost this here from the events board, so it will hopefully get more views.

Southwest Virginia Community College’s Haunted Hall will open on Friday night, October 12, at 6:00 p.m. in Davis Hall. The frightening fun will be repeated the next night on Saturday, October 13. SWCC students will be given a special treat, half price tickets, for this one weekend only. Students must show their SWCC IDs at the door to get the specially priced tickets. Regular admission is $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for ages 9 to 12 years.

For those who miss the opening weekend, you can join the fun on October 19 and 20 or October 26, 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Featured will be a Gothic Art Gallery with a few surprises, an Insane Asylum run by the dead, a balcony haunted by star-crossed lovers, walking dead zombies, Slaughter House, City of the Dead Graveyard, Frankenstein’s Laboratory, and Leatherface’s Workshop. Even the ghost of Jack Sparrow may make an appearance. Concessions will be available, as well as, face painting. Dress in costumes is encouraged but not required.

All proceeds from the event will benefit scholarships and student events. SWCC’s Haunted Hall is sponsored by the Alumni Office, Institutional Advancement Division, and PBL, the student business club. Contact me for more information!

Just a reminder that tonight is the first night of the haunted hall. We will be open from 6-10 tonight and tomorrow night , so come by before or after the game tonight. SWCC students are half price this weekend with a valid student ID.
