Gunz9 71 Report Share Posted March 13, 2013 A couple of months ago Tazewell native Adrew Fox, a VA State Trooper, was struck and killed by a woman driving a suv while directing traffic at the VA state fair. Because of VA law the woman could only be charged with wreckless driving. She ultimatley pleaded guilty and was fined $1000-------yep thats it, $1000 fine for killing a sate trooper. Andrew's father, who is also in law enforcement, is petitioning Phillip Puckett to enact "Andrew's Law". This law would require mandatory jail time and restitution payment to a victim's family if somone kills any emergency personeel on our roadways. Please show your support and sign the petition.
