ME: Such and Such office, ME speaking. ...long pause... TM: Hello. This is John. ME: Hello, John. ...long pause... TM: Are you the business owner? ME: No. ...long pause... Got a call Monday morning... didn't say who it was, but talked about a flash flood warning. Don't remember what the exact msg was, but the original had a little shorthand, because I heard "blah blah w slash blah blah", instead of 'with'. Nothing like laughing during a wx emergency call.
