Teen Venture Battle of the Rock Bands

Hey guys. My job is hosting a Battle of the Bands this year! Our event will be on July 27th, 2013. It starts at Noon and admission is free with one can of food to be donated. We plan on having 10-12 bands battling for cash prizes. We need a few more bands and we also need vendors. If any of you guys know a band or know a food/craft vendor that would like to be a part of this event, get them in contact with me. PM for my contact details if you don't already have them. We are going to have our Rock Climbing wall open, Skate Park demos, bounce houses, free face painting, games, and more.

Here are some updates on our Battle of the Bands!

 

With the lineup set, we moved into the recruitment of vendors and sponsors. We are happy to announce we raised all the money needed to put on this event for the community.

And the thing we are most proud of is that admission to the event is now FREE!!!!! All we ask is that you bring a can of food to be donated to local backpack programs as well as the food pantry.

 

The event is going to be out back behind our building. We have been granted permission to use the towns stage. We also have a bouncy house and slide for kids! So bring them out too!!! This is a family friendly event.

 

Food to be provided by Smokin' Mokes BBQ & Hillbilly Cuisine.

We are 10 days away from the show!!!! Just finalized everything with the sound system. Got a pretty good setup for the bands. We are extremely excited about putting this event on for the community. Everyone come out and have some fun!!!!
