legend11 32 Report Share Posted June 26, 2013 We also can't forget about the voting rights act case, and the affirmative action case ruled on this week, both of which have sent political pundits and bloggers into quite a tizzy. That's three high profile cases in three days. Is that normal?
Deleted Account 5,203 Author Report Share Posted June 26, 2013 We also can't forget about the voting rights act case, and the affirmative action case ruled on this week, both of which have sent political pundits and bloggers into quite a tizzy. That's three high profile cases in three days. Is that normal? It's normal that the Supreme Court rules on contested, influential issues from multiple circuits. It's rare that the Supreme Court rules on such issues in very hot-button societal issues. People care not for monumental cases in environmental protection and patents. But social issues? Hot-blooded.
