SW_VA_boy 495 Report Share Posted December 3, 2014 ELLISTON — Chase Lawson knocked down 15 points and Brandon Spangler and Kyle Hall had 13 points each to lead Narrows to a 74-45 win over Eastern Montgomery on the opening night of the regular season for VHSL boys basketball on Monday. Jackson Blankenship added 12 points for Narrows. Eastern Montgomery was led by Ron Ford with 21 points and Michael Waltz with 14 points. NARROWS (1-0) A. Collins 9, C. Collins 8, Blankenship 12, Lowe 4, Hall 13, Spangler 13, Lawson 15. EASTERN MONTGOMERY (0-1) Ford 21, Waltz 14, Rucker 3, Brown 2, Pettus 5. Narrows 14 21 17 22 — 74 Eastern Montgomery 11 9 13 12 — 45 3-pointers — Narrows 3 (Hall 2, A.Collins); Eastern Montgomery 5 (Waltz 2, Ford, Rucker, Pettus). JV — Narrows won 40-20.
