Guiness International Champions Cup 2015

They announced the dates and venues today for the 2015 installation of the ICC. I went two years ago to see Chelsea play Inter Milan in Indy. It's well worth it.

 

This years teams are: Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Porto, Fiorentina, Club America, LA Galaxy, NY Red Bulls, and San Jose Earthquakes.

Each team plays 4 games (except for the MLS squads). A win gives a team 3 points. If the game is tied at the end of 90, there will be a penalty shootout. The winner of the penalty shoutout gets 2 points, the loser gets 1 point. The team at the end of the tournament with the most points is your champion.

 

Tickets go on sale next week!! I'm headed to Charlotte for sure to see my Blues exact revenge on PSG. And I'm also going to try to make it up to DC to see Chelsea play Barca.
