gmenfootball 10 Report Share Posted December 4, 2003 My dad seen coach Carlock out this morning in town,and coach said if we get that bad weather Saturday, the game probley will be played on Sunday,I guess it all depends on what happens with the weather.. gmenfootball 10 Author Report Share Posted December 4, 2003 I guess Gretna will have some say in this,If they dont want to play in snow coming down I guess they may want to move it to sunday,but your right,I dont think it will help any thing,the field is coverd with snow right now and it will probley be a sloppy field sat.,or sunday..GO G-MEN!!!! buzzsawBeaver 12 Report Share Posted December 5, 2003 The thing is that might be even worse for a speed team. Warmer weather melting all that snow and ice makes for a slopfest in the mud. The field for wv's aa title game at wheeling in '02 was almost frozen solid like astro turf fridayevening, the warm afternoon for the aaa title game on sat. had very muddy conditions like so.
