wvbowhunter 10 Report Share Posted August 17, 2004 Spangler said he expects to have a good season at Fayettville....any news on Mount Hope Meadow Bridge Valley (Fayette) Midland Trail and Gauley Bridge in class A, how about AA Oak Hill after Grasty graduating and coach Martin leaving?? Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted August 17, 2004 Oak Hill scrimmaged Winfield on Saturday and the word is they looked horrible. Winfield's varsity offense scored two touchdowns on the Oak Hill's varsity defense. Oak Hill's varsity offense couldn't score on Winfield's varsity defense. Winfield's JV outscored Oak Hill's two touchdowns to one. Granted it was just a scrimmage, but things aren't looking good for the Devils. edrforshey 27 Report Share Posted August 18, 2004 this evening in Parkersburg and it wasn't pretty. Catholic lead 44-0, before Midland Trail scored to make it 44-6. Each team ran 3 sets of 10 plays and then played 2 quarters. Catholic put up 32 in the 2 quarters. Midland is pretty big up front, but didn't seem to be able move people off the line.
