convertedbeaver 10 Report Share Posted September 25, 2004 they cant make the mistakes in the endzone like they did last night. i think they have to play mistake free football because princeton had the bulldogs down at the end of the first half. but martinsburg came out and scored every time they had the ball in the second half. i think the physical play of the beavers may shake up the bulldogs a little bit. a big hit makes a player think twice in some situations! Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted September 25, 2004 Bluefield has the team and attitude to beat Martinsburg, but they must bring their "A." I know the Bluefield coaches have been watching Martinsburg this year and have developed a good knowledge about them. I believe if Bluefield watches some of the game film from the Princeton/Martinsburg game they'll see some things Princeton was able to do in that first half to rattle Sowers. The pressure is entirely on Martinsburg next Friday night, very few will believe a AA school should beat the top dawg in AAA. Bluefield should come out loose, focused, and ready to make a statement. As usual, I won't make a prediction on the final score, but I expect a hard fought, four quarter battle.
bluefieldRocks 14 Author Report Share Posted September 25, 2004 Well tom i feel the only reason oak-hill got that 6 was because our second string was in against the 1st offense...thats the only reason the score for bluefield was lower than average.
