Tid_Bit 10 Report Share Posted October 18, 2004 I've read on a previous post in the best running backs thread that some Marcum kid felt cheated because he ran a 4.52 and they wrote down a 4.7 . This is standard operating procedure if the 4.52 was a hand held time and not a FAT time(fastest automatic timer). I think you add something like .18 to a hand held time to get a FAT time. This should clear up the confusion.
Lance 228 Report Share Posted October 18, 2004 thats still crappy...esp. when you "beat" the other 3 guys you are running against and they ALL end up with faster times than you get. Doesn't make sense to me but whatever...it's Nike, you would think they could afford accurate timers to begin with seeing that the 40 is the main focus of the testing anyway.
