Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted November 6, 2004 The game was over before the first quarter ended with Beaver leading 21-0 after the first. The Beaver reserves would tack on two second quarter scores to push the lead to 35-0 at halftime. Due to Virginia high school rules with lopsided scores the clock ran continuously in the second half. Lee put up two touchdowns in the second half on the Beaver reserves with Beaver adding a single second half score. This is Bluefield's 10th undefeated regular season in school history. All of the things that Bluefield did like having an undefeated regular season and beating Martinsburg are nice but they still don't compare. The past 10 games are history and a new season starts next week. The only thing that matters now is bringing the state championship back.
