Deleted Account 5,203 Author Report Share Posted May 17, 2015 You forgot Vic Hall and Riko Smalls. Groh's mismanagement of Hall led to the Marc Verica disaster. Riko Smalls transferred without playing a snap. We have had 2 QBs since Schaub remain a QB from 1st year through 4th/5th year AND exhaust their eligibility playing QB. One of those was the aforementioned Marc Verica, AKA "Interception Machine". The other was Scott Deke, a career backup with 1 TD pass on a fake FG. If he would've thrown more than 1 pass attempt, I'm not sure we wouldn't have. Then, he gets trotted out to start the 2009 season, the year we tried the spread offense. Marches down the field effortlessly against W&M on the first drivr and scores a TD. Gets injured on the first play of the second drive, which hurts when you only have 1 QB on the roster capable of running the spread.
