Thoughts on this game tonight? I dont know much about what kinda team Lebanon is, but Lee sure put a smokin on em last week. Lee has alot of speed, size, and strength this year, let's just hope the coaching can actually get them somewhere.

I'm hoping Lee can pull off the unthinkable and shock Swva by knocking off Giles. Talk about the lid blowing off little ole Lee county then.

I heard from a friend today that Lee took the cannon with them. I thought that was just plain badass and intimidating at the same time. Hats off to the generals for that.

Hopefully they make some adjustments and come out swinging. If not it's gonna be a close one.

Will this game even be close guys? Haven't heard much on battle other than they're not very good this year.

Yes beamer it would be tough to have a repeat game like we did when it's played at legion. That place is a whole different world.

After last week's game I think people are actually realizing that Lee is for real this year. Giving the arguably best team in Swva the hardest fought game they've had this year. Heard from a friend today that they over heard gate citys coaches after the game saying that do NOT want to play Lee in the playoffs, that they barley squeaked by this game. Let's hope so!

Who you got guys. Lee really needs to win out this season to have a shot at the playoffs. I'm not really an expert on how the power points work so maybe somebody can chime in on that.

Because the defenses knew what to expect. The only reason both teams scored was because of missed assignments. Lee scored on their last drive to bring it within one. If their was another couple minutes on the clock Lee could have possibly pulled the upset. It was probably the best game I've listened too in along time. I wish I could've been there to watch it.

I don't understand what the field house has to do with any of this. Lee was on a mission Friday night and they almost accomplished that. Nobody expected that game to even be close. You take a team that is supposedly the best in Swva and put them against the underdog, nobody picks the underdog. The summary of this game is both teams studied the game film very well and practiced all week to prepare. I think Lee and gate city are very well matched. No team was better than the other, it just come down to who had the ball last in my opinion. Lee is a very good team if they can just keep a level head all 4 quarters. I expect them to go 8-2 and meet union again in the playoffs and hopefully meet gate city again. I guess we will just have to see.

This game surprised me in so many ways. I'm still in shock. Lee actually shutting down #7 with the exception of a few big plays. Didn't expect that at all. Gate city is still the team to beat no doubt. And just like union, hope we see you guys again. ðŸ‘

If Lee can play defense like they did in the 4th qtr against union then they have a good chance of a win tomorrow. They just cant get the lead and then start giving up big plays. They've always had trouble with finishing the games strong. I guess we will have to see how this turns out. Would love to watch it but the radio will have to do.

Before all the bashing starts with how Gate city is gonna walk all over Lee, I just want to express how proud this whole county is of those boys. People have not had this much school spirit in almost 20 years. Last week's game was controversial at best. I'm sure everybody has seen the videos and to every man his own. No matter what actually happened it's over and done with now. That should just motivate Lee even more to come out and lay the smack down on "Great city". That being said, any predictions here guys? Be blunt and dont hold back.

They did. I saw the clearest version of the final play and you could definitely see the ball bounce off the ground and what appeared to show either a general kick it with his feet and the union receiver pick it back up or after it bounced he grabbed it. Hard to see that part.

Damn what a game. The refs seemed unfair to both teams but it was a nail biter all the way til the end. See you in the playoffs union!

No the game is being played at Bullitt park. And I'm surprised that people are just now talking about Lee. We haven't been contenders in a long time but we are taking a major step in the right direction. Excited to see how this goes

I just hope Lee shows up prepared for a fight. The last two games we just haven't performed like the first three games. Defense was sloppy, seems like they came in over confident and expected an easy win, and didn't expect to actually have to try. Hopefully they get their heads on straight this week down in Ben hur. Because come Friday they are gonna have to prove that 5-0 record ain't just a fluke. Time to nut up or shut up!

Since the last thread got a little sidetracked. Thoughts and predictions on this game? First time in over a decade I assume that Lee has been undefeated this far into the season. I think that with the momentum they have built up, they are gonna bring one hell of a game to bullit park. I'm gonna say Lee 35 Union 21 But as anyone who has followed this series it always comes down to the wire. Hurry up Friday!

If Lee is 5-0 by the time they play union, I think with all the momentum they would have built up, I could see Lee upsetting union. For the past few years Lee has always been unions toughest matchup and the games have always came down to the wire. Look for a good game there.

I'm liking the way they look this year so far. Hard to say what the rest of the season holds

I plan on keeping close tabs on the gc bluefield game. Could be a really good game
