In 2013 Haysi was plastered with red, could have something to do with 13-1 record idk.

I realize that Ridgeview is a few miles from Haysi and Clintwood but especially at playoff time in both towns every marquee and storefront window would have signs voicing support for the teams. It's just not there this year, one bank in Clintwood has a go Wolfpack sign, nothing in Haysi. Was that the case in other consolidated schools towns?

Anyone know a good restaurant around Pearisburg and maybe a place for an adult beverage?

Over on Maxpreps the Giles schedule has the game on Friday at ONE! Could that be correct?

I'm no football guru just a fan so excuse my amateurish rambling but I was at the GW and Burton games and Honaker ran a few plays in a spread formation with the C QB RB and the remainder spread both way right and left. They seem to catch both GW and Burton by surprise and had some success with it mainly running the ball. Two questions Have other teams used this formation? Will RV be prepared for it?

Redtiger I believe that Haysi was in the LPD when they started their football program back up in 1959 until 1971 or 72, then to the Clinch Valley District

I was sad to hear that Shanghai Nickles will not be announcing the Ridgeview games on the radio. I will miss his signature phrase "running hard". What are some of the best SW radio announcer phrases?

I do not about Richlands or Honaker, but in Haysi case first 12 games 10 int last 2 games 10 int

Was that an anomaly or does most east teams have such poor fan support? 20 miles from their home field and we outnumbered them at least 2 to 1.
