There has been very little discussion about about Hunnycutt being done for the year, it took the T from our playbook, or at least the change of pace he provided. We are different than we were against the GMEN . I hope we find someone who can give us a extra spark for the next few weeks , Richlands will come to play so we better be ready

I think we all knew that the GMEN would be the class of D , but we also knew that Central and Union would be very close , the surprise is Ridgeview. Any of these teams could win the region and give region C fits in the finals. I do expect all 3 to win out , yes Abington will loose 2 and that would give Ridgeview the Mnt 7 . How that works out for points ????I have no clue , The next 3 weeks will be fun .

Something was mentioned on the radio tonight as I drove home, of course they stated Billy Cawood dying and they said “another situation “ may have had an effect on Union , I have to think it was our friend Chris having some problems at home. The kids are very protective of Chris, so that may have been what they were speaking of

Union lost all around, Central played like everyone expected, 4 turnovers and the line play for Central won this game. Rhoads please come back , please please. Our linebacker were were getting caught up with the line being driven back , bad night , poor gameplay on D , but Central was by far the better team

There are just a few hours until kickoff and there is little smack talking from either side, could it be that both teams know that this will be a very tight game? All three phases of the game will need to be near perfect to win this one , so one break or turnover may decide this one.

Wasn’t trying to make any point just letting you know how it worked, kinda like a lease type deal($1 per year, football the school system paid 1/2 of the rubberized track re surface) like the no smoking at a high school event, we don’t enforce it because of it being a public park and we have no ordinance for that but if you are smoking in the stands we will. The VHSL gave us some grief about playoff games several years ago but then we reminded them how much UVA at Wise charged them several years ago we charged $0 . We really don’t have any conflicts with Union , we work really well together but like I said we retain full authority there even during said games…..useless but true info

Never was school grounds, inside the fence or outside thefence is All Town of Big Stone Gap. We (the town) pay 100% of the cost of maintenance as well as the Police officers( county pays its deputys’) so that’s why there may be a discussion at the town council meeting( may be) . Just to be clear there has been a noise ordinance on the books for some time. It should be noted that many of the complaints came from Union fans , so we have a week or so to work this out. I see a different location of the horn and a written set of guidelines to be put in place.
