I’d hate to be a decent offensive lineman at Riverheads with college aspirations. If two lineman are pretty close talent wise, I’d think a college coach would look harder at the guy who can/has learned pass blocking skills instead of run only.
Thats an interesting view. I wonder if they've had any recruited? I know if i was a scout or recruiter that would leave a big question mark for me
The 1st half the Tigers shot themselves in the foot on D. They didn't show playoff defense. Probably halftime talk left some ears tingling. They listened and responded. Sometimes your identity can be murky when on the big stage, but you wipe off the fog, clear your head and get it done.
Wasnt talking about just this game...its been all year
Just never has been a priority to focus on that aspect of the game. There have been several players that could have likely made plays through the air but it’s never materialized.
I can respect that. All i was saying is if youre not prepared for every situation, like being down by 2 or 3 scores or 2 min drill down by 10, then its not complete football. And i love to see those kinda teams in those situations.
Told u unions offense is their weakness. Tazewells defense is not very good. Wats the story over there with only 12 points in the half? Not being sarcastic btw. Genuine question
I wish we had enough athletes to throw it more but we just dont. Small and slow so we have to use misdirection to get an advantage. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Thing is Central and Poquoson are both smashmouth run first teams, so you really don’t want to see anyone from Region A or B because they are not shotgun 3 wide throw it around teams.
Aw cmon man. Its simple throw and catch basically. Even smaller schools should have kids that can throw and catch. Riverheads has been very successful with what they do... i respect the hell out if it but i dont like when any team is so one dimensional.
If you can't stop the run why pass? It's not important at all if you can line up and shove it down teams throat
Signed....riverheads and Giles fans
Your post is comical
Sorry to hurt your little feelings over what i prefer 😆 i figured i would hurt some feelings, esp u single winger fans. But your statement is not always the case is it? They dont always shove it down the other teams throat. They're not the team that always wins. If so then every team in the nation would do it. So i would argue that your post is comical. I can respect what they do but I dont like it. So dont get so butthurt over someone liking something different than you.
Riverheads might beat Central in the rematch but… Central is the better overall team IMHO. Lopez and Forbes are special players. Central just seems to have “it” this year. However, it is very difficult to beat a quality team twice, especially one that’s won 7 titles in a row.

I hope Riverheads gets beat. I hope Central gets up on them early by 3 scores and then they look like lost little puppies that have no clue wat to do. This might be an unpopular preference but i really dont like teams that dont take advantage of the complete game of football. Playing scared to throw the ball 15-20 times a game. Heck even 10 times. I also dont like teams that would be on the other end of the spectrum but u dont ever see that.
Would like to see the defense that could stop that QB. I believe union could possibly ddo it. But imo unions weakness is their offense. They will struggle with a good defense

Definitely. I just think Radford has the offense to put up some points against them and make them play catch up.
