Let’s say you won today and Appo was coming to Rose Ridge next Saturday to play. Are you alright with them prancing into your stadium to practice without even asking your head coach or administration the night the before the game?

I would not be surprised if O’Quinn went elsewhere. He needs an offense coaching staff that can game plan better for his talent, make adjustments to allow him more success against tougher teams. He’s an athlete & I hope if he stays or leaves, he has a great year next year.

I think a lot of Graham’s success is consistency. They live in the weight room during the off season. They practice hard too. They practice full pads, tackle, etc. They watch lots of film. They have some natural athleticism but I think the coaches do a great job developing the talent & knowing the strengths of their players. Those boys would run through a brick wall for those coaches.

One dimensional? Last year we had a QB with a broken leg & another starter out with a broken collarbone and managed to win. I actually think we are stronger at the LOS than last year. Meadows is very capable QB and we have some really good receivers. Graham has gotten better at the short intermediate pass game this season than in previous years. I agree with @Faithful G-man , why pass unless you have to? I respect your take but hope you’re wrong, lol.

Not sure but I was told radio guys said he broke Ahmad Bradshaw’s record for single game rushing yardage in a playoff game. I’m not sure if that’s been verified.

And have been in the weight room since January…they took off a couple of weeks for Christmas break though 😂 . I always wondered after reading that article that quoted O’Quinn, did he honestly think Graham was not working in the summer like him? Graham’s been living in his head since last November. But kid is a helluva athlete though. He’s a great asset to his team.

If the power run is working, why show the rest of your hand? I’m sure Coach Smith is well aware of Graham’s arsenal. I‘m just glad we have other weapons.

That’s the reason I think GW squeaks this one out. Home field advantage will help them this go around along with having a healthy team. I could be wrong.

Rematch from last year! Appo is Appo and if any team can find a way to stop Clements & that power ru, it’s Coach Smith. I do think game will be determined on the LOS on both sides of the ball. 🤞the officiating crew is different!

RV coaching staff failed that kid (you ? “I had 4 total targets the whole game)” & their team in my opinion. You have to make adjustments and utilize all your playmakers the best you can. RV has lots of talent to use. I guarantee Graham prepared for them to use Beavers and planned ahead for adjustments. Great coaches game plan for all scenarios. Some coaches complain the entire time to the refs.

Yes, that’s why I couldn’t figure out why RV didn’t make adjustments.

Why Ridgeview didn’t move the Beavers kid to slot to adjust their offense is beyond me. Their coaching staff leaned too heavily on Hill. He’s good but Beavers is faster in my opinion. This is when an offense gets out coached by defense. Graham basically made Beavers a nonthreat & RV never adjusted. RV has talent upon talent. I think they’ll still be decent next year even with what they lose but I wouldn’t be surprised if O’Quinn ended up elsewhere his last two seasons. Kid is very good! Congratulations to RV on a great season! You had some Bluefield Beavers cheering for you in the Graham stands, lol! Congratulations to GMen & especially Clements, what a game! Glad the crowd came to support our boys!

Graham’s defense seemed to wake up near end of 1st half. Could be wearing down RV’s O line. RV came to play & their fans can boo in unison like no other fan base 😂. Graham has a much better crowd today!
