Some other Tazewell folks on this board posted they’d be cheering for Union if it came down to Union & Graham. Thanks for supporting us if it goes our way. If doesn’t our way but goes your way, I’ll definitely support the Bulldogs against Gate City! I will always cheer for our Tazewell County teams first! If a M7 ends up in state semis, I’ll cheer for them against 2C winner!

I wouldn’t. When tazewell goes out, (hopefully they don’t!) Go G-Men!

So, the 85 yard TD pass I saw him throw in the 1st quarter Saturday that traveled 50 yards in the air and hit the receiver perfectly in stride didn’t happen?

Besides, have you watched football at every level in recent years. Tom Brady made a 25 year hall-of-fame career throwing those types of passes. It’s the way the games played now. It’s an extension of the run game.

If it’s so easy, why isn’t every high school team in our region duplicating his feats?

    From Max Preps

Passing leaders through this week: Carter Creasy, Tazewell (3173 yards/36 TD); Tristan Evans-Trujillo, Freedom (2780 yards/41 TD); Carter Working, Lightridge (2735 yards/23 TD); Jordan Dennis, South County (2671 yards/18 TD); Peyton Musick, Honaker (2671… dlvr.it/SynJM7

Also note he’s missed a game and a half. Stats don’t lie, this kid is throwing numbers that you see on a video game. He’s phenomenal when healthy & has time. Being that, will his line give him time against union, Creasy don’t like being hit, no QB does. If they give him time, it could be a long night for the bears. Creasy is smart also, he knows when to hand it or pull it, But I think even if he doesn’t get the time he needs he will still be able to move the ball with screens and quick hitters. Also, Tazewells biggest problem, they can’t be beat when they get off the bus, they have to have the right attitude and confidence. You can’t go into a game thinking you’re gonna get beat before you get there. If they do, it’s gonna be a long ride home for the dawgs!

What about the kid from Honaker? I don’t know how he compares to Creasy but he’s put up some numbers this season.

Stat wise (Max preps) Carter Creasy is number one on the stat board, followed by 2nd is Peyton Musick. But you can’t really count on Max Preps.

Edit: The VHSL has Creasy at #1 also, and Peyton Musick of honaker at #4

  4. I think this is gonna be a tough one for the dawgs, does union have a good pass coverage defense? I have never watched union play other than watching them play Richlands, and that was like watching an nfl team play a little league team! I’m hoping for the dawgs to win, but I really don’t see it, from what I’ve seen and heard union is a load to handle!

Also, If and when someone finds the day and time will they post it!

I want to mention I saw some real class from Ridgeview #5. He checked on our down player while he was down. Nice to see that

Gotta tip your hat to #88 also, with about a minute left when our starters were still in he walked around and hugged and shook all the tazewell guys hands! Kudos to that kid! A very class act!

  6. One good thing for the dogs, they are healthy and other than graham they seem to be rolling, but it’s graham! Lol. I think tazewell breaks the one and done streak and shows everyone who they are. I’m gonna go with the dogs in a tight game!

SWD Championship on the line ~ can Tazewell pull out the win? Graham will need to contain Creasy & bring the pressure! If he throws at will, it could end up being a barn burner! Graham has some kinks to work out still but penalties were much less against Pulaski which is a plus.

My question is does tazewell have the defense to defend grahams run game? All depends on how tazewell comes out. I think tazewell can compete with graham, but will they is the question. I could see this game going either way but if tazewell comes out like they did against Princeton then  it’s a rolling clock by halftime! Good luck to both teams for injury free, good clean game! I think it’s gonna be a good game this year!

Yep, then Creasy pulls out 3TDs to give them the win!

I hate to say this, but if it wasn’t for Creasy tazewell wouldn’t have much of anything going for them. It seems Tazewells play calling is made up of a peewee coach, they can’t tackle to save their lives. If this stuff don’t get cleaned up it’s gonna be a long rest of the season and another one and done.
