Closer game than expected in my opinion. Ridgeview starts slow as usual especially with homecoming distractions and it’s a one score game at halftime. I think RV wins 34-17
Bunch does carry most of the scoring load but Jordan can hit open shots, Honeycutt is getting back into his groove, Jenkins is the ultimate Swiss army knife and Bartee is as good of an on ball defender as you'll see around here. Dude clearly has a RV bias, they lost to Abingdon without Ramsey by 20 and then Union by 20 and somehow they are still a threat to win M7. It's not even possible at this point I don't think. Union has no M7 losses, AHS just one, RV has two and hasn't played GC yet.
Abingdon-RV game was competitive as it wound up being 8 point game in the end but RV was within 1 point in the 4th. However, with Ramsey it wouldn’t have been close. Definite bias from the previous poster but RV is having their most successful season to date. I’m a realist though and my opinion is RV is no better than 4th best M7 team.
This was a good game last night. RV continues to frustrate as they are so careless and reckless with the ball. They try to push the ball as soon as they touch it and it’s because they bog down in the half court set. Additionally, it doesn’t appear they run many, if any, set plays. They remind me of a pick up team at the rec park.
Exactly. A couple of passes maybe and somebody drives and puts it up. No sustained halfcourt offense.
After 5 games 1470 yds +or- a few and 23 tds. If Bristol herald courier stats are correct, he was at 1242yds coming into last night and added 231 to that.
I think it will get ugly quick and Adkins will definitely get his yards and tds. Probably won’t be a huge yardage total because of short field possessions (40-50yd drives) but I’d guess 5 tds. Plus more than likely he should be resting after a couple possessions in the 3rd quarter.

Will probably be split between Jalaan Deel and Chase Fuller. Both of them are athletic with good speed just not the size and power of Hackney
