I remember reading in the Roanoke Times that Fiddler's daughter had signed to play basketball with a school in the MAAC conference but I don't recall which one. She should be a soph or jr this year in college. So they must be talking about one of Fiddler's assistant coaches daughters- which I know nothing about any of them.
So Gretna will host the VA-Graham loser while Martinsville will travel to the VA-Graham winner. This thing could turn. For example, all 4 teams are so close that lets say Graham loses to Virginia High. It's a situation where Graham could turn around and beat Gretna and Martinsville could turn around and beat VH on the road. All 4 teams are close, very close.
Very true but don't you think a 3+ hour bus ride for the loser of the Virginia High/Graham game could play a big factor?
What's throwing me off here is Narrows Fort was actually the 2nd game of the day and Carroll EW followed.
That confused me as well. Then a friend told me the bracket was on the Grayson County Athletics and Activities facebook page so I found it there. No idea why they schedule the games out of order like that.
Unbelievable!! Should be on sportscenter top 10 tonight. Also, kicking has become a lost art in Single A. Not many schools that can even kick a PAT anymore. Props to that kid.
