He will indeed be the next football coach at Lee.  Tremendous hire by them and a great job in pursuing him. All Generals fans should be very pleased with this news. 

Men, yesterday, I was told that it was all but done, but my source is telling me now that he has backed away after mulling it over with family.  He apparently has informed them to move on, after having verbally committed to taking the job.  And yes, it certainly would have been a home run and generated a ton of positivity and enthusiasm.

Am I missing something here?  His best record at TW was 6-5 on 3 occasions (2008, 2009, 2011).  Each one of those seasons ended in a playoff shellacking.  He went 1-9 in his only season at Eastern Montgomery, and the news of his departure hit papers before he had a chance to tell his players.  He lasted 1 game at John Battle.

I have friends that are from Lee County.  I have heard that (those unhappy people) are the problem in Lee County.
