The Cliff is such a unique and iconic venue. On a side note, bonus points for the scrappy Hurley QB wearing a non-traditional jersey #41. He looks like a FB/LB who stepped-in to run the offense.
#41 He was my QB in High School Gabe Hurley class of 2004.. He always paired up with a LB to form Tackle or any other hitting drill loved to get hit an lay them as well .lower body strength was crazy!!
I think Tester has a good chance of being Region D D-POY as well not seen the Lucas kids play much myself..Tester can play anywhere on D I've seen him the S-CB - MLB-OLB .. play them all at a high level seems like hes in on every tackle breaks on the ball great always in the right place at the right time.. i know he had at least 6 INT'S last year in 6 games.. not sure how many he finished with this season..
Johnson Central lost 30-13 to Boyle County. I was hoping JC would win as their legendary coach Jim Matney died during the season from complications of COVID.
Coach Matney loved his kids an knew how to get the best from them. His legendary pre\post game talks are amazing! If the link below dont give you chill bups an bring a tear to your eye at the same time you don't love football..
Another reason i posted this is .. I live on the KY Wva Line in Virginia ( Hurley)about 40 minutes to Belfy High im in Williamson all the time after week 5 they were calling for the HC job .. this kinda relates to Union with everyone in BSG (almost) acting like Turner isnt doing his job wont ever make the people happy
Thats unreal started the season 0-5 an lost 1 other game during the regular season. . J/W any team in southwest Virginia ever started 0-5 then win it all?
