Tim Hayes posted stats for some of the teams in the regional contests and the two guys with the most ppg is Mozell and Reece while Mozell is also averaging 4 assist. Reece is also averaging 4 assists to go along with 12.2 rpg 2.4 bpg and 2.1 spg. For anyone else wondering Collins and Garrett’s stats - Collins 20 ppg 8 rpg 5 apg (most aassist in the region from these stats) and also has two triple doubles on the year. Garrett 21 ppg 7 rpg

    Just read that article and it says that Central has zero seniors and their JV won the championship. They will be interesting next year.

    First Round (BOYS) Will take place Monday at Higher seed


    1) GC Bye

    2) Union vs 7) Lee Monday 

    3) Abingdon vs 6) Battle monday

    4) Central vs 5) Ridgeview

    Second Round (Boys) will take place Wednesday and both games with be at GC

    1) GC vs 4/5 Winner

    2/7 vs 3/6 winners

    Can we all agree that the two teams representing region D will be decided by the refs and who decides to show up and play in the region tourney. There is no margin. There are 6 teams that I see could earn the state birth. GC, Graham, Va high, Central, Union, Lebanon. 

    I also wouldn't be shocked if Marion or RV upset one of them either.

    2) Ethan Collins- 21.3ppg 6.9rpg 3.8apg 51%FG

    3) Brynnen Pendergraft- 18.5ppg

    4) Porter Gobble- 18.4ppg 

    5) Kam Bostic- 17.4ppg 3.9rpg 3.5apg 46.1%FG

    Collins and Garrett with almost identical stats. Many, including me, believed these two would be battling it out for M7 POY
