What is silly is the Kennedy was first team catcher M7 but in region chandler was first team. Skeen didn’t even make the all region list. Now yes I’ll agree Wyatt and foster both had a good year especially to be underclassmen but I don’t think I’ve ever seen two underclassmen make the all state team that didn’t make it out of the first round of region. Think it’s a gobble-foster I’ll scratch your back you scratch mine scenario.

Wouldn’t say Reece has lost his go to guy. Boyd was a nice addition to Reeces assortment of receivers last year but I would still say Baker and Garrett are his top two guys. Hoping to see an increase in screen plays to Jessee. Also odd how he doesn’t get much traction on here. Definitely not the fastest rb in our area but definitely one of if not the strongest. Kid is a sophomore and already has two power 4 offers.

Class 2 and 3 Players of the year both come from the M7. One of the better baseball districts in the state from top to bottom.

While we’re on the topic of basketball. Has anyone heard if Landon Lee is officially at TCC? Heard he might stay at V High due to the coaching change at JM?

Timeline must be different for other sports than it is for baseball. Baseball players tear their labrum’s and they are out for at the very minimum a year.

Prior years yes you do. There are only 4 candidates to be state poty, and they are the 4 region poty. Only exceptions to be region poty and not district is if you are in a district with teams that are different classifications like the M7.

Me as well!!! Even the Abingdons semis were horrendous. I have never seen that bad of calls in the state tournament

Bit of a head scratcher but how in the world can clay be Cumberland District POTY but 1D POTY is Hamilton???? Both are good players but you have to be district player of the year to be the region???? Only exception is if you’re in a district with teams in different classes. Only way this is possible is your dad being the coach more than likely. Hogo POTY is likely Tuell M7 POTY is likely Humphreys SWD POTY is Whitt from V High. Pretty big snub IMO. V High finished 3rd in the district. SWD teams continue to hate Lebanon. 2D POTY is definitely Gobble

KW is not throwing the guy who throws 90. Already 2-0 battle after 1.

KW doesn’t swing it the best but they will have a dude on the mound throwing 90 who has some command issues at times. Hill is the probable starter for battle which is not a bad matchup considering how KW performed against Barton last year in the semis. I’m going to go with 4-2 Battle
