I’d have to know a little bit more about their pitching situation. The arms they threw against Abingdon wouldn’t have a chance of beating either. But didn’t they also play the bears earlier this week? I’d say their best arm would have thrown against them?

That’s the only championship game tazewell will play in this year

The only problem with that is that idk if Lebanon will be the 1 this year. They have the pitching to be but Foy will be an equalizer when they play on Tuesday. Foy shut Richlands down last night so Leb and V High are tied for 1st right now. Tazewell is far worse than expected, Marion has been no hit by Leb and GC so far this season and they beat them last night

They’re definitely worse than expected but even then GC beat a 1a front runner in PH and wise beat V High. The M7 should AT LEAST take 2 games in first round of region Abingdon- performing as expected Battle- performing as expected Union- performing slightly better than expected Lee- performing far better than expected Wise- performing far worse than expected Ridgeview- Performing better than expected Gate city- Performing worse than expected

Compared to VA as a whole it’s nowhere near as advanced. Region D is down as a whole with Lebanon and V High taking a couple of steps back but the M7 is way better than usual

It hasn’t really been much in a decently long time. A couple of years ago Tazewell won it two or three years in a row while getting third in SWD

Agreed. All it takes in Class 1 & 2 to have a shot at a title is having 2 legit arms and 1 okay arm due to only playing twice a week, until the tournaments start. Meanwhile at the higher levels you need 4 legit arms and even then you’re not guaranteed anything. But the only thing I’d like to see most before playing the same district team twice in a week is making every postseason matchup a series.

It’s always hard to gauge whenever a Virginia school plays a Tennessee school. Since they play a crap ton more games than Va, the TN schools usually are very depleted when they play them and typically throw their worst arms since they don’t mean anything to them, meanwhile the VA school always throws one of their top 2 arms. It was Science Hills 4th game in a week, including two with DB, and have another one scheduled for tomorrow. Battle has always been pretty close to beating them each year and they finally got the job done, still a good win for the program.

The Rebels opened up the season with a slaughtering of Richlands 14-1 and then got hammered by them 12-2 so myself along with others thought it might have been a fluke, until I saw they beat Auburn tonight 11-4, I know they lost a lot but that’s still a good win no matter what. Looks like 1D has a chance to make a deep run at it, along with Fort Chiswell
