Man, if actual criminal charges come from a shove or two, he totally should have threw some good punches and whipped his ass. Couple black eyes, busted mouth, loose a few teeth, now that could stop a trash talking dad and make him think twice about running his mouth and approaching the teams bench while a game is going on. Can’t fire somebody who has no intentions on returning. Ricky Lawrence is a daddy ball coach that took his bullshit too far and anyone that lives in Richlands knows this is a fact. There’s no way he should ever be allowed in the gym again. I miss the good old days when there could be a good knock down drag out and the best man came out on top, those were good times.

Nah, if white Tshirt dude kept his ass on the bleachers and watched the ballgame from the bleachers and cheered the team on from the bleachers and ran his mouth at the coach and refs from the bleachers, the scene would have been avoided. Since we are doing what ifs and opinions, they may have even pulled out a win. But no one will ever know that now. Tom Rife has no intention of returning. All Ricky Lawrence did was ruin those girls last game and make it about himself. He had a choice to keep his ass put and watch the ballgame, yet here we are debating his shitty behavior that started the shit show. Parents need to stay in the stands. The entire scenario wouldn’t have happened if he kept his ass on the bleachers. Good luck finding a new coach, no one in their right mind would apply for it after last night.

Tom Rife didn’t push anyone out. He stepped up after Aaron Lowe was fired, he has absolutely nothing to do with the shit show Aaron Lowe caused and continues to keep stirred up now. Ricky Lawrence, the white Tshirt dude, is salty because he wasn’t hired as the boys coach. It’s common knowledge that Tom is only coaching this year, he had no intention of returning. The treatment he and his assistants are receiving from Aaron Lowes army of loyalist is shameful and they do not deserve that, they stood up and lead these girls to a successful season despite all the bullshit. The minute Ricky Lawrence decided to get up out of his seat, stand behind the players during the game and run his mouth, was the minute he decided to take away from his daughters and all the girls success and make it about him. He’s robbed his daughter and all the girls the opportunity to enjoy their accomplishments. Parents need to stay in the stands. Period.

Tom Rife has probably forgotten more about basketball than you or anyone else on this board currently knows and he can stIll out coach all you keyboard warriors. His assistants are more than capable, they both have an abundance of knowledge. They are lucky that he stepped up after the shitshow Aaron Lowe created. Also, trashing the coach is very much downing the players and serves no purpose unless you have an ax to grind due to the coaching changes. Aaron Lowe ain’t coming back, so the best thing you can do is throw your opinionated support behind the girls.

Whoever LWC is, is obviously still salty over the Aaron Lowe firing. No one else has any reason whatsoever to go online and diminish the girls basketball team. Just hard to tell who it is though, he definitely has a big, loyal following that is willing to do his shit talking. It’s a real shame, he needs to move on. You know, move on. They are doing just fine without him.

My Aaron Lowe post was sarcasm, obviously not very good sarcasm. I don’t think anyone is going to credit Tom Rife with any success the girls achieve, but at one point Aaron Lowe encouraged these girls to set out this season in protest of his firing, which was petty and selfish. It’s just nice to see them playing. Annisley Trivette is an exceptional talent who is where she is because of her supportive family, not any past or present Richlands basketball coach. She is really something to watch.

#nolowestillashow. Imagine that, all that talk and girls basketball kicked off their season strong this week, without Lowe. A great coaching staff leading them, future looks bright for these ladies. Rumor this month is Aaron Lowe is set to take the helm as head football coach in Honaker. He’d look good in orange.

There’s no if to it man. I know the facts. Middle school football has only won games against weak competition. Beating Honaker and Tazewell and getting their clocks cleaned by Graham, Bluefield, Abingdon, isn’t exactly a ticket to a state championship in 4 years. The little guys winning with a schedule against Grundy, Hurley,Honaker, Lebanon and Tazewell isn’t exactly something to be bragging about and placing bets on their future. Anthony Cox ruined the youth program and whoever is over it now isn’t making it better. Get those kids to Graham, Bluefield and Abingdon, play some competitive teams. Get them ready for the high school level. Heck, the little quarterback for the youth program spends his Friday nights watching GMan football, not Richlands. If all your worried about is beating Tazewell then you can keep up your trash talk about them, have at it. But your delusional if you think it’s getting any better for the Blues in the future. Honestly, not throwing off on the kids, they work their tail off everyday. They can’t help it when the adults in their life place unrealistic expectations on them.

Me too homie, deeply involved on every level, youth and high school. I just see it for what it is. Maybe you’ve got the daddy goggles on too, that could totally explain your skewed completely unrealistic viewpoint. Man, you’re viewing Richlands sports through some serious blue colored glasses. I’m a born, raised, live, eat and breath Richlands faithful, but also a realist. The dominating glory days in football or any sport has past this town by and ain’t coming back. Take them glasses off so you can see clearer, because your ignorance is far from bliss. It’s embarrassing.

Loads of talent coming, lol. Nope. The loaded talent coming up is in Bluefield. Richlands may beat Tazewell in the future, but the football glory days are over for the Blues. Sorry dude.

Finger pointing and blaming coaches for lack of talent is story book Richlands. At some point, everyone has to come to peace with the fact that kids are doing their best and the skill level and capability of the players is what it is. There’s not a coach in this world that could do better with this team. That is just straight up facts.

My entire point is that Richlands dominance in football is history, not that Greg Mance saw the upcoming talent level drying up and left for greener pastures. Richlands fans are fair weather and it’s a sad day for anyone in the HC position. Even worse for the kids.

Greg Mance didn’t have a problem with a slap in the face to some hometown kids by bringing in better talent. Winning is your ticket to longevity, even if you make a few enemies along the way. A revolving door of coaches happen when the talent isn’t interested in your program anymore. The youth program may not have always been weak, but it is now and will be for the foreseeable future. Hate it for the kids, but sometimes the truth hurts.

Wondering how long it would take to turn on Tarter. Richlands fans, especially all the moms and dads, don’t want to hear it, but the talent is just not there, and I’m not throwing off on the kids either, it just is what it is. There’s not a living, breathing coach anywhere that can make Richlands dominate in football. I hate it, especially since the kids work so hard and have unrealistic expectations thrown their way. It starts from a weak youth program and the fact that all the talent that Richlands used to attract is going to Bluefield.

Legal action? I want to meet the attorney that takes on this case. I bet the attorney is as imaginary as all his job offers.
