GC girls are for real. In a game of matchups they are the worst possible matchup for a younger, smaller RV team. GC out rebounded RV 3 to 1. IMO GC girls are the best team we’ve seen and it’s not close. Be interesting to see the results on 1/3 between them and Central.

G-men may actually be better this year than last! RV needs them to implode in the second half or this one may get ugly.

I don’t have as much of an issue with holding a child back. Especially if it is in regards to maturity, graduating age or academic reasons. I do have some concerns over doing it for athletic reasons. If the child has the abilities it will show well before 17. Unfortunately I think this is simply where we are at in society now. I don’t see it ever going back.

If the transfer is legit due to parents relocating then I have no issues with transferring. The problem I have is when high school coaches actively recruit kids from other locations. My daughter has been contacted about transferring. What a coincidence that it’s the same school that made the newspaper! There is no loyalty to your home school anymore and it is sad to me.

I think if the RV that played last night shows up then this one could be over with quickly. Short passes and playmakers in space are just too much for Tazewell to handle. The first quarter will tell you all you need to see. If that takes place I say RV by 28+. If not I believe it will be a ballgame coming down to the final quarter. I would still say RV pulls it off but much closer. RV by 7-10.

If this RV shows up in the playoffs they will be a tough out.

Very well said and the point I was making earlier. Get the ball to the playmakers quickly and in space. Didn’t like JJ as a coach at the U but he was spot on. They had the special athletes and won a lot of game’s playing with that mindset.

It’s almost as if they actually don’t trust their QB. Predetermined before the snap of the ball that we have a go route in the play so we have to throw it there. O’Quinn can spin it! The coaching is doing him a great disservice by not teaching how to read coverage and where to go with the ball based on what he sees. Defensively on the other hand looks solid even against a physically bigger unit. They will get after it and they’re coming in swarms to the ball.

The talent is there! Coaching on the other hand is not.

RV offensive coaches are AWFUL period! Big IF here but IF they make it to play the G-men obviously it’s going to be in Bluefield and I’ll guess it’s about the same result as last year if not worse. Tunnel screens, quick slants, playmakers in space…..don’t see it. Bombs away!
