Radford was a bad matchup for Riverheads. Like Bandana said they had the ability to spread them out and a running QB. Union would have given Riverheads problems because of Anderson.
On the other hand, I’m not sure Graham would have. Graham coaches offense like I played Super Tecmo Bowl with Bo Jackson. Bo/Clements right, Bo/Clements left. I ignored Marcus Allen and they ignore Jennings and Floyd. Tecmo allowed me 8 plays and Graham has about the same on offense.
Matchups matter. Congratulations to Clark and Crist on a great season!
After they whip the hell outta Riverheads next week, I'm looking forward to seeing Crist taking his coaching skills to a failed program and rebuilding it to a powerhouse! May I suggest Castlewood, Thomas Walker, Northwood, Bland.
When is the last time Radford won a state championship? Played in a state championship? I’ll wait while you google it.
You should've commented on this three weeks ago until waiting to see if they could get there. You waited because you weren't sure they would get there either.🙄
You’re right I wasn’t sure he’d get there. Not because he can’t coach but because he didn’t have the most talent. But today he had his team better prepared against a more talented team and now he’s in the state championship game. And he deserves a lot of credit for the job he’s doing!
If Riverheads holds up the trophy in Salem at the end of the season I will personally buy you a frosty. (Red Rabbit only, not everybody on this board. We’ve seen how that goes.)
Best all around HS Football player and most impactful for his team in my opinion is the Hill kid on the line of scrimmage for Graham. I'm sure a QB, RB, or WR always gets the first look, but if you want the most consistent player and productive player in the SWD in my opinion, it's the Hill kid for Graham.
Respect your opinion but we will disagree here. I think Jennings is the best defensive player on Graham’s team.

Seems like you’d want a defensive guy as the head coach if you know the dad is going to be calling plays for the offense
