LOL...I only mentioned GC because they're the only team giving us any serious playoff points this year. Every other team on the schedule, outside of CCD, is having very sub-par seasons by their standards.

It's a 1-16 bracket and it works exactly as the NCAA regional brackets with 1 v. 16, 8 v. 9, and so on. The first three games are played on the higher seeds' field with the title game being played at Wheeling Island Stadium.

Ding, ding, ding, and DING! This is what wanting the 4th seed is all about and nothing more; a possible third home playoff game; 26-1 all-time at home in the playoffs says everything.

Let me guess, Gate City is next? No offense to the GC folks, but this is getting comical with Bluefield losing two playoff points in a single week b/c of ineligible players being used first by Oak Hill and now Fleming.

When I have to read The Register-Herald to find any mention of the Beaver game last night because the BLUEFIELD Daily Telegraph has absolutely nothing on the game. R.I.P. BDT....

A down Salem team is still four touchdowns better than all the teams from the SWD outside of Richlands.

Bluefield currently has 99 points for a rating of 11.00. Gate City finished their season last night, so they cannot give us anymore bonus points. The max points we can get next week with a win is 17 including the point from OH/MV. The chances of Princeton and Graham winning are nearly zero with Fleming's chances against GW Danville not much better. I personally want Bluefield and Magnolia on opposite sides of the bracket for a potential Wheeling matchup if both are fortunate enough to get there.

It's possible for us to out point G. West for the #3 seed. However, the #4 seed might be more idea if Ravenswood ends up at #1 b/c there's a solid chance they won't make the final four, which means could potentially end up with three home playoff games. All of this means nothing though unless we beat Wayne next week.

Regardless, if we beat Wayne next week then we lock up a top 4 seed and at least two home playoff games.

They've not counted the Gate City win tonight yet and the Fleming score is unknown right now.

Another C'burg interception with less than four minutes remaining, barring a miracle this one is over with the score 35-18.

C'burg turns a CS turnover into a touchdown, increases lead to 35-18 with 6:22 left in the game.

It's turning into a second half shootout at C'burg, CS with another TD. It's 28-18 following another missed 2-point attempt, very late in the 3rd.

Redd is the best source for Beaver football...:rolleyes: Seriously though, Leggett has a chance to be a very, very good player moving forward. He's built like a bulldozer and has some serious speed.
