  1. Honaker 52 Narrows 28 1:14 2nd Is Honaker the better team tonight? Yes. Is this a hell of a lot closer had Narrows not beat themselves? Absolutely.
  2. Honaker returns the KO for 6 Honaker 52 Narrows 21 3:02 2nd
  3. Honaker 2nd pick 6 of the night Honaker 44 Narrows 14 4:40 2nd
  4. Narrows wins coin toss and defers to 2nd half. About to start.
  5. Thank you sir for the clarity on the subject. It's been 20+ years since I last watched a game at the Stone Castle and the memory was getting a little fuzzy on the specifics. I do remember some older VA High folks playfully talking trash about that banner like Narrows hears about their banners from the 30's.
  6. I remember Parkersburg being listed in there for a stretch years ago. As far as the polls back in the 60's, I don't know the exacts by I know Tennessee High had a banner for something to do with Nationally for their run back in the early 70's.
  7. I can testify to that being the case in baseball as well. Also, work with plenty that are scared shitless he'll be the new guy if/when Jeff steps down.

  9. All I know is, I'm gonna post up on McCroskey Hill awfully early and hopefully enjoy the show. It should be a fun one, especially if the Narrows that came out of the locker room after halftime of the Parry McCluer game shows up.
  10. I'd feel like I wasn't doing my job as well if I didn't throw Harry Ragsdale's name into the ring. You don't have Steve without him. 32 game winning streak, playing in the New River District, with what would've been Group 2 numbers at best today. Coached a HS All-American player. Had another winning streak of 20 games that got to be able to claim 2 Class C titles in the 30's and was putting players in college ball back then as well, the first going to South Carolina.
  11. Final Parry McCluer 21 Narrows 56
