I believe that Richlands will have the better odds of winning but thats why they play the game on the field instead of on paper.

Before I forget I would like to say congrats to Richlands on a very fine season and best of luck the rest of the way in the playoff! It's nice to see local teams do well weather it's from the Virgina or West Virgina side.

Which injury was you talking about? I was setting in the middle of the stands and I never heard anyone cheering! As a matter of fact when #15 took that shot in the back everyone I was sitting around was concerned there for a few seconds when he was not moving. Glad to see that there were no major injuries on both sides. Best of luck to the Mavs next year.

Coach Carlock was an asst. coach under Gainer and Chmara at Bluefield High School in the mid 60's to early 70's.

Mr.Sandman,if you would look at the WVSSAC website you will see that Bluefield is not a "AAA" team parading in "AA". Bluefield is the 15th largest "AA" in the state of WV with an enrollment of 505 students. So you are implying that there is 14 "AAA" schools parading as"AA" in WV.

all that I was told that the kid came over with Mike Davis.His practice number was #49 and was at the running back position.From what I saw,he was taking quite a few snaps mostly on 2nd team.He had decent speed and showed some quickness.Also the kid named Cecil Smith that transferred looked liked he had potential.He is tall with a lanky build,but this is his first year of playing football.Hopefully he can develope and contribtue.

A kid whose last name was Bland [Tony]?played in place of Perdue did a good job.Also a kid from Princeton came over with Mike Davis that looks promising but basketball is the main reason he came to bluefield.

I watched bluefield practice today and spoke with a couple of parents who attended the scrimmage at nitro and said that at first Bluefield started out flat but after they settled down they played better.They said that Nitro was huge on defence.Bluefield had a hard time running on them but Bluefields passing game looked good.David perdue did not play due to a minor illness.
