On the second play Duran Carson ran around an 80 yard TD. Abingdons first team D didn't allow a big play either. O-line wasn't in sync either, missing three of the 5 starters for various reasons. Can't wait until Friday, Chilhowie at home, benefit game!

I'll have to add Duran Carson to the list. He basically did everything for AHS last year from the backfeild, by ctaching running (when we actually ran), and blocked. I can't wait until this year, I guarentee he will make first team region at the least.

Yeah, we filled them, we have 9 coaches, all with experience. Team is looking solid with everyone going good. Should be a fun year at AHS this year. Only problem is lack of depth on the O-line but that will easily be able to cover that. Can't wait until the 25th, Battle!

I am here of course, but just seeing what everyone else has put. We should be over .500 barring injuries, and with our passing game doing good over the summer, and our running game we will develop, we shold be in there with everyone. But expect ALOT of new changes this year from last, even with the same coach. The only downside is that one of our senoirs wont be playing this year. But we will have to make due without him.

Saints don't have thjat good of a shot, but I am happy we signed Reggie Bush! Ofense will be the greatest show on turf part 2! All we need is a CB to step up and our LB's to stay healthy and we have a legit shot at playoffs.

They lost pretty much everyone, plus bench. They do have Logan Ball, Justin Newberry, and RJ Whited coming back. They really don't have any lineman they can count on though, which will be their biggest downfall.

Like u always had to go back to the 40 after u get to a certain point, and how far u go past it you get so many points. Plus defensive stops and INT's get you points. Yeah, Abingdon will be ready for some football.

Turns out only two other teams showed up, Daniel Boone and Elizabethton. We beat both teams, but we didn't keep count. I'm hoping this builds up so we start out the season on a roll. Can't wait until Monday, 2 a days!!!!!

Not many teams were there though, only 9 teams. Plus Battles style of scoring was really strange. You also had to wear pads to this one, which sparked alot of hitting. Abingdon is going to the tourney in Elizabethton today to go against schools like Tennessee High and the 3 and 4 A (I believe) schools there. Should be fun and I'll post who wins and all. Our #1 WR (Tyler Bailey) won't be at this one, but we should still give it a good run.

I was told by Lebaon players that Conley Yates and Brandon (forgot last name) were not eligible to play. If so, it looks worse for Lebanon. But Skyler is going to be a sophmore, and they have Jesse at QB.

My picks r based on who I have played against and seen. Best overall QB- Zac Titman -Holston State winner in 200 meters will have to run and pass for the Cavs RB- Duran Carson- Abingdon with a better line and a fullback, Duran will get the carries he deserves WR-Hard to tell, someone new always comes out and shines OL Derrick McKnight or is he moving to TE? Tackles will be Justin Newberry from Honaker. Guy got 25 tackles against Tazewell alone. Should get alot unless him being QB prevents him from playing alot of D. Kicker should be the kicker from Va High? Just my thinking

I am pulling for Germany, bc my new favorite player plays for them, Odonkor. I like his passion, plus he slapped one of the other teams player the last game (forgot who). I'm thinking with the home feild they can pull it off.
