I emailed some pictures of Tazewell helmets from 1999 to 2005. Three different looks for the helmets from 99 to 05. Hope they all work out.

I have Helmet Decals from 2000-2003 seasons where it was just the "DAWGS" and then the other Dawg from 2003-2004 season.. Where can I send the pics to? And which ones would people want? the old "DAWGS" logo or the picture of the dawg? OR actually the pic of this years decal? Whichever I can probably send

The way I understood it is that he was interested in being Bluefield College's head coach not Bluefield High School. Could be wrong though.

Who all is going to play college ball and where at? As for next season I think Tazewell will play well even though key players are leaving. Tazewell should have a good core performance from McDaniel, both Weitzals, Wilson, and Saunders and the Defense hopefully will just reload instead of rebuild.

Dont know if its been said or not but is Grundy even having a team this year or not? Because didnt they drop the team halfway through the year last year? Just wondering because they have some votes, almost beating Carroll County actually..

A lot of that has to do with the administration actually supporting the Cheering Sections. I remember fans from Tazewell being told to sit down throughout the season. Tazewell even put fans on the upper deck, but that was because of the Richlands v Tazewell game where all that crap happened. But I think the Richlands @ Tazewell game was a great game with great cheering sections on both sides where the cheering sections were about even, but I have to say that the Rifes Raiders had a better cheering section through the overall season. Never know for this year with Wyatt pumping up the school spirit for Tazewell, it might just carry over through basketball season.

I went to the website and you can pick the color of the helmet and facemask then mail in the decal. They'll put it on for about 30 bucks or so but you have to order at least 6 helmets. Shouldnt be hard to find that many people though. Great idea for Booster Club.

I was looking on the THS Basketball website and saw that they play Grundy, Richlands, and Graham in the beginning of Jan. Have they always played district games so close to the beginning of the season or first year thing?

Who scored for Tazewell, and was the kicked wide or blocked?

Made some calls and found out 7-0 Gretna in the 1st Quarter.

Do you know if there is anywhere where we can listen to Tazewell or Richlands on the internet like the Bluefield radiostation?

Going with the faith of the Dawgs. I think that the 1st half will be closer than a lot think. And yes I remember last years contest(or 1st drive,1st series w/40 TD pass) between Gretna and Graham. But the thing is Tazewell in the 1st wont score much and wont let Gretna see the endzone as much as people think. 1st half Im seeing Gretna leading with a 21-7 or so with Gretna scoring in their last drive of the half. Hopefully Tazewell will hold on in the 2nd but its hard to see. Good Luck to Wyatt's Riot and the Dawgs.

I would guess because Graham killed Tazewell that year in the regular season by like 30 points, and with "Sugar Ray" playing it was supposed to be another blow out for Graham.

Does Martinsville have a good chance of beating Patrick Co. and making the playoffs or will Graham still make the playoffs? Because Graham (16.8) isnt that far ahead of Martinsville (15.7). Im asking because I havent really heard much of anything about Martinsville because I have been gone for a lot of the season. So is it Martinsville or Graham going to the playoffs?
