after just their first game, they beat a pretty good East Ridge team 70-45. They had 4 out of 5 starters in double figures and an unstoppable Brooke Sheppard down low... it looks like it will be a great season for the Lady Wave.... i say District Title and possibly go far in play-offs..

Moore is still head coach at Twin Valley, and i would say that Goodman is just helping this year.... sounds like it will be a good year for Twin Valley... but, i would also have to say Coach Rife.. this is his first year at grundy with a hand-full of great seniors that know how to play ball, i cant wait to see what he can do with them this year.

i think that grundy will certainly take home the SWD title again this year... grundy has 4 returning starters and senior Stephon Baker back from a shoulder injury last year. i cant wait to see what Coach Rife does with them this year, should be exciting.

ya, we should be pretty good this year. i just cant wait for season to start, it should be fun as my first year on jv.

i would have to say 5-star also, from wat i have heard, its definetly the best basketball camp you can go to. i am going to try to go to one next summer, which will be my 8th grade holdback year. i really hope i get to go, cause that will help me A LOT for varsity and other things.

it was basiclly a dominating game all day for the wave, the only time r-lands scored was off of a strip and just took it to the house. Riverview had 11 running backs and 3 qbs, R-lands didnt even get a 1st down on grundys startin defense. It was an absolute great game for the wave and we play again sept. 13 @ graham. hope to see you there.

i was just wondering if there are any good 8th graders that are movin up to jv this year? i know that there will be a couple or so on grundy and there are about 4 on twin valley, anyone know any names of people elsewhere and their ability?

ok, i thought this was a post about Heath Miller, not an arguement over uva and vt fans?? alright, now, lets FINALLY get back to the subject, i agree that the lions are good, but they are still a little too young, give them a few years and they will be awsome. it will be a good season for the steelers, but with duce staleys surgery and with everyone talking about rottenburgers possibly sophmore slump, the defense will have to be a key factor. did anyone else read about the linebacker harrison and him trying to fight with heath after heath burned him twice? that was good lol. well, just finally get back to the subject guys.

well, i hope thats wat hero turns out to do, i wouldnt mind to see his super bowl ring either haha. i think the steelers have a good shot at takin it to the super bowl, but i really hope he does get rookie of the year, i cant wait to see the trophy when he does.

How do yall think former UVA and Honaker standout Heath Miller will do his rookie season? He is a great tight end and if he didnt have the sports hearnia surgery, wouldve possibly been picked in the top ten. He is a tight end that can catch and block. Does anyone think he will help the steelers go to the superbowl or have a rookie type of year? I personally think he will have a huge impact on the steelers offense, with rottenburgers favorite target last year, Plaxico Burress, gone to the Giants. He has said to already have a huge impact on the offense as he has gotten the starting outside linbacker, Harrison, wanting to fight him and having the rest of the team nick-naming him Hero. I think it will be a good season for rookie Heath Miller, anyone else agree?

Who does everyone think will win the game in Blue Grass Country this friday night? The only thing i know about shelby valley is that they are 2-0 and grundy is currently 0-1 with a loss to clintwood. My estimate is Grundy 28 Shelby Valley 14. There are still some things i saw in grundy last friday i didnt really understand. like: Bronson in the backfield instead of Josh McCown, who will more than likely be the starter next couple of years. and although bronson and Church did a pretty good job on Defense most of the rest of them didnt do very well. and the offensive line needs to block better. and i think that gaaron will be able to play more next friday. although, i will be at r-lands this friday, i will be listnen to it on tha radio.

i know its WAY to early to predict SWD POY but if Gaaron Marcum is healthy then he will literaly run away with the award. he is without a doubt the best RB to be in this area for a few years and is explosive when running the ball. he can even make a few good plays on Defense and is an awsome punt returner. i really dont know about many other players in the SWD and about their skills, but like i said this is really way to early start tryin to predict the SWD POY, but if anyone has anyone else they would think could be in running then just say it. But, after lookin at Gaarons stats last year as a junior, you can only imagine how great of a year he will have. also considering the fact that he had to share the ball alot last year with Aaron Looney. so, i think he will have a breakout year... any predictions?

well, i wouldve said UVA just cause my couz played for em last year ha ha. but now i think ill have to go wit either Texas or Miami. Texas still has Vince Young and always has great recruting and Miami is good every year and still has a few returners. i cant wait till football starts... but from now on... GO LONGHORNS!!
