your talking about a traditional place... most ppl that played there never worryed about getting their hands dirty!! lol.. Every place has its positives and negatives! TVHS is a nice school with excellent facilities! The consolidation had its pluses and minuses on both sides!

I think "Twin Valley" will face that alot from here on out! They gotta get a shooter hitting it from outside! If Shortridge comes back that will change things. IMO playing without Shortridge will make them stronger down the stretch, but they need him back and need him healthy. If Coach C and his boys can contain themselves they will get better, right now they are very beatable as TV, Honaker and Grundy has proven.

But they did get rowdy!!! It's all cool now I reckon!!!

They got rowdy! Honaker's coach pulled his players because of un-necessary roughness, or sportsmanship. I dont know thats why I was asking. I dont know who won or even if they played the boys game.

Word is girls game was haulted due to unsportsmanlike conduct??? and no word on if the boys game was played!! BDD is firing up it sounds like!! lol

Now as games are being played please post them as you find info!! I'm going crazy being cooped up!! lol 1-4" tonight dont sound good!!

After reading 20 min. in this thread. All I get out of this is that Hurley if finally going to be winning some games, as in football. It's been along time. I'm glad for the program. Twin Valley has pretty much dominated the BDD since consolidation! They are still going to have something to say on who goes where! Honaker is the biggest school and has traditionally had a better feeder system in place than the rest of the schools (over the years). Therefore, they are competitive year in and out! This could be their first since the Tyler's and Mullins team. I think the top 3 teams TV, Hurley and Honaker has a good core of players. Its the ones coming in and assumming the roles that will make the difference! The calls the coaches make early on will be more important! You can't afford to lose a home game and you need to steal one or two away! This year you could see a number 3 or 4 beat a 1 in the tourney... who knows!! lol It's fun guessing!! hahaha Addressing Smith and elbows.. He's an athlete with determination and drive. If I had ppl hanging on me, I'd play with elbows face high also. After awhile when you get your hands on the ball they'll go on back down the floor!! I think he plays hard and leaves it on the floor. ppl seem to be hitting the panthers pretty hard for not being very good or not having the numbers to be good.. but remember every program has down years (some last longer than others). This was one game! It will all start over come monday. Friday is another battle. They will get better. Like Lance said.. all TV ppl arent the ones in the stands running their mouths, true!! I wish some teachers would set in the midst and keep that hand full lined out!! Who knows maybe they will... I hope. Good luck to all county teams, it looks like they'll all need it!!
