without a doubt. Tazewell/Graham is the most interesting of all the games. Tazewell won 4 of their last 5 and I believe Graham lost 4 of their last 5. Graham pretty much quit toward the end of the season. That being said....how will Tazewell's players react to playoff football? Will they be psyched up or intimidated? Will Graham be looking forward to basketball season or will some of the old warriors(Remines, bovenizer, Elswick, and the QB) show up and bring the rest up to their level? Who knows....I believe Tazewell is the best team,but Graham has alot of heart and playoff experience on the other side. Will be very interesting to see how this plays out!

Richlands is playing on Friday night. So it would only make sense for Tazewell to play on Sat so they can get a big crowd. Graham usually plays their playoff games on sat and it isnt a issue.

I know they were good teams at Tazewell in the mid 80's,...I was on them. Q.Reed never made any boasts about needing 300 yards against youall to break a school record. He had already go them a week before against graham in a 16-0 win for tazewell. Reed wasnt hurt either. It was Jeff Lamie who broke his collar bone on the 3rd offensive play. We lost our qb,kicker,punter, fs, and return man all on one play. Otherwise you guys wouldn't have even gotten a wiff of a win against us. Looks like Richlands will be playing their old nemisis, Magna Vista in the first round. Can Richlands get over the ghosts of playoff games past and actually beat a piedmont team? Is there any truth to what they are saying on the vapreps single A board about some players from honaker and lebanon being out because of some vandalism performed by both teams on each other? If so do you know any of the players that will be sitting out Fridays games?

The blues have a great team.. But they better concentrate on beating Lebanon and Carroll before they start thinking to far down the road in the playoffs. Who knows the first playoff game maybe their last. If they don't concentrate on Carroll co first they may be sharing the district title with either Grundy of Tazewell!

They are starting several new players. It also didn't hurt lebanon that 2 phantom holding calls cost Tazewell 2 touchdowns and another cost them a run that went down inside the 5 yard line.. I've read on a previous post in the best running backs thread that some Marcum kid felt cheated because he ran a 4.52 and they wrote down a 4.7 . This is standard operating procedure if the 4.52 was a hand held time and not a FAT time(fastest automatic timer). I think you add something like .18 to a hand held time to get a FAT time. This should clear up the confusion.
