GREAT news. The rule that allowed this meant for it to be used during a kick, not as an offensive formation.
Upoin further review, I see the rule was (rightly) clarified to allow the formation to be used only on 4th down (like it was intended)

Neither scored in the 1st. Lowe started down to start the 2nd and got a reversal, then gave up an escape to make it 2-1 after 2. Lowe let him up before the 3rd started and the match ended tied 2.
Lowe gave up an escape in OT-1 and got an escape with :03 left in OT-2.
Lowe started down in OT-3 and appeared to get an esacpe with :10 left but was OoB.
