HAHA yall boys were good last year on the middle school level, but there is a big difference between beating up on 12 or 13 year olds and getting beat up on by 17 and 18 year olds.....you will find that out real quick on that first saturday.

i think that the richlands fans/players on here think that they are the only kids around that are lifting weights everyday. Tazewell's had 50+ kids 3 days a week for the past two weeks, with most of them being underclassman, Wyatt will be in heaven about 2 years from now.

One name comes to my mind and that is Kenny "Red" Evans...

It is pretty sad when Tazewell beat Graham and Virginia High not once each, but twice each, and both of them two teams had 3 kids on the All-State squad. If those boys from those two teams are soo much better than our boys, then how did they manage to go 0-4 against us this year? No one around here had enough guts to step up and say it so i will, Muncey, Cleaver, and Marcum were and are your 1st team All-Southwest District linebackers, they are probablly in the top 5 or 6 in the whole AA State. JR Wilson finished with 1300 yards and right around 20 TD's now im not saying that deserves to be 1st team All-District or anything like because there were two other backs with better stats, but i want anyone to find another running back besides Garon in our region that is better than him. We had a senior defenisve back that played in only the last 7 games of the year, he finished with 5 INTs and only gave up one touchdown and it was against Gretna. He played against your 1st team All-Southwest District receiver Remines twice and held him catchless....what gives? Also find me a better tackle and a better guard than Jarrod Burton and Jake Evans.

the whole reason the tazewell/richalnds fight happened was because the dumba$$ principles from tazewell had the two student sections sitting beside each other...usually our students sit behind our teams bench, but for some reason they had them on the visitors side, next to all the richlands fans and students.

no one is really interested in JV teams...there has been more talk on here about Grundys JV team than all the other SWD teams varsity combined.

they have about as much to prove playing Hurley as they do when they play those teams from Kentucky....it would just be another stat game for them.

Is it true that Justin Wilson will no longer be eligable once report cards come out? If so that will hurt the team alot.

That all district team is a shame...Harris Hart screwed all them boys from Tazewell over when it comes to stuff like that...I hate to say it but its the truth...I wish coach Wyatt would have been here about 4 years earlier.

pretty much what happened. i know the kid was an 18 year old senior and got knocked out by a 14 year old freshman haha...the police got involved and everything.

Our girls team will be real good this year. I hope our boys do good but in all honesty i think that they will be terrible. Who all off of the Richlands football team are gonna be playing basketball?

there was a Ron Artest type altercation at the Richlands/Tazewell game last year haha. Im sure everyone remembers that.

is V. High in the Lonesome Pine district now?

we won 8 games and i would be willing to be that we played alot tougher schedule that V.High did.

to the being pyhsical comment, either you didnt play in the game or your blind because it was a very physical game from both teams. Vic Hall got hit hard a few times,ang got back up, but hey thats football, any team that thinks that if you hit him hard one time and he will quit are wrong. and to the one man team comment, your crazy if you say that kid is not your whole team because he is...no disrespect to anyone but you take Hall off Gretnas football team and you could compare them to a V.High...#21 Reynolds was good but was no better than a Tyrone Mitchell...Gretna is very lucky to have someone like Vic Hall on their football team, he is that once in a lifetime player that some teams have never even seen. congrats on a game well played and a great season so far, good luck at state Gretna.

Evans has started 39 or so games and is one of the better offensive lineman around....Burton is close to, if not the best guard in the district, you flip a coin between him and Lee and whoever wins can call themself the best, there are your 1st team guards....i think it is funny that Bovenizer was All-State last year and now most people arent even mentioning him on their all-district team...evans from tazewell wore him out all night in both games this year, i wonder who will get put on the 1st team and who will get left out...because i think that Smith from richlands is more than likely a lock for one of the 1st team tackle spots
