  1. Powell Valley and Burton games are both going to be on the leased access channel on Adelphia/Wise County Cable 4 times in the next week. First showing will be 48 hours after conclusion of game.
  2. YEAH, BUT YOU'RE AA. If you played a schedule against all A teams, then that's basically like a high school team playing against a very under-manned middle school team. One reason why the VHSL has Groups!
  3. Maybe a Cumberland District win over Ervinton. 7-6 in OT.
  4. I'm not even sure if that would be possible.
  5. Hey dude, do you not consider Norton in SWVA or something. They're playing for a state championship, give them a little respect. I think they've earned it.
  6. As far as the Cumberland District is concerned, there's really only one running back worht mentioning. Rye Cove's Zach Berry had something like 1,776 yards and 23 TD's. Muncy from Thomas Walker was off to an astounding start with 700+ yards in his first 4 weeks, but then barely broke 1000 by the end of the season.
  7. The Cumberland District has some pretty good sized posts. Castlewood has a 6'4 player named Drew Justice, he's either a soph. or jr. Twin Springs has a 6'8 or 6'9 center named Tyler Webb, a 6'4 PG that's a soph. named Mark Dockery, a transfer from Volunteer that's 6'6 and already scored 1000 pts, and then the exchange student who is a 6'4 guard. And I think Rye Cove still has a 6'7 or 6'8 center named Dustin Lambert. Rye Cove lost two players to early graduation and I think he may have been one of them.
