Head Coach Greg Rowe and Defensive Coordinator Jack Compton are going to resign from their coaching duties at Grundy High School. This is really sad considering they have been together for so long and have won many games together. I just hate to see the all-time great, 1 - 2 Punch, Rowe/Compton, be gone forever. From what I've been told.. Rodney Short, Anthony Church, Tommy Crigger, Luke Owens, John Lark and John Christian are being considered as a possible replacement for the jobs.

Castlewood may get upset this week if Hurley gets the same refs Grundy had last week. According to Kevin Sauders, and not taking anything away from Grundy, they really played their hearts out. The refs cost Kevin Saunders his perfect season. They really believe in HOME COOKING. Saunders has reported this crew to the VHSL, hoping he can get another win on his record off the field instead of on the field.

It's gotta be Grundy over Richlands in the first round of the playoffs in 95... Tommy Crigger pulled off some John Elway magic that night!!
