Mt. Hope and Oak Hill a classic match up that is long over due. Well finally this year we play each other again, and for the little brown Jug! Now I know, when half of you see Mt. Hope and Oak Hill. Neither school has had a stealer season like Bluefield in the past few season, but this game is so much more then a regular game. Its a wanted rivarly, just imagin, these two schools been wanting to play each other for that jug since the 80's. Mt.Hope went 5-5 last year, lost 3 games by a play to the each of therm and 3 of those teams went to the play off's in both "AA" and "A", Mt. Hope being a small Single A school, Oak Hill won 2 games last year,and is a "AA" school. Say what you want about last year though, this is a new year, and even if neither school does good, this game will be plaied with their blood sweat and tears. Its not a normal Rivery, its a game that is so wanted to be plaid that it has become a need to both teams, so for thoes that read this, who do you think will come out on September the 2nd with the little Brown Jugg ?

Mt. Hope and Oak Hill I think will be an alsome game. Both schools have a common and some what bitter rivalry. Its been since the 70's when most of the players, now, father's play for this teams and went up agest each other. since the 70's, the battle for the little brown jug has not been played intill this year 2005. So will the Oak Hill Red Divils retain the jug, a school who is dertermand to revive them selfs after a dissapointing season last year, or will it be the Mt. Hope Mustangs, who will take the jug back. Mt. Hope being a team who has been wanting to play for the jug since oak hill droped us, a team that is thirsty to brake some old losing steaks and wipe the rust off of their sholdiers. So on september the 2nd 2005, the old rivalery between the Devils and the Mustangs will take place in the mustang's home field, a stadaum that is said to be one of the best high school stadum built in the two virginias.

50 slant is a good defense, but I like a 5-3 defense personaly. Good agest the run, expecally if you use a cover 3, and the deep-backs can read and cover the recovers. but thats me

All right, I just wanted to know what every one in the two Virginia's favorite defense is. Is it the 3-5 defense, or is it a 6-2 defense. Do you like the cover 3, cover 2, or would you like to see the corners man up on the receivers. Who do you think hits the hardest, covers the best, and what team do you think can just play some D? So just comment on what you think about defense and how good your team's defense will be.

Mt. Hope West Virginia is droped down to 8 games and desperetly needs to fill their schedule. If any teams in West Virginia, Virginia, or Ohio that needs to fill their schedule and is open on September the 9th, 16, or on September the 30th, please respond... Mustang3

The worst thrash talking school that we plaied last year was Shady Springs, Not only did the players have a full head of arrogonice, but the reffs was on their side. They cliped us, they showed bad sportsmanship, and they had at least two or three late hits that was never called. But even though they beat us on the score bored, we beat them physicaly, softing them up to get distroyed by blufield. This is from a Mt. Hope Mustang player.

In the wake of another season, I can honstly say, that I can't wait till our first schriummage, and I can't wait till that First game against the Shurman Tides! I'm not going to let the pre-season hype get to me, because, all hype is, is excitement and is the most over-rated gester in sports. So This is too the 2005 season! And in the end, If we make it to the playoffs! that would be alsome, and when and if we make it to the playoffs, we will take each game in the same way that we walk, one step at a time, one game at a time, and games that we play extra, wile in the playoffs, will be cream on the cake. Sweet but missed when its over.
