Don't know if many people know this, but Meadows broke his other(left) hand in the 2nd quarter of the game Saturday and played thru it. To play like he did with that hand.....kid is a warrior.

Last years team was way more balanced. They could run and throw equally as well until the injury to Blevins. In addition, the threat of Blevins running when things broke down in the passing game is what set him apart. The Sawyers and Blevins injuries are what derailed last years team and became the fuel for this years group. Both teams were great in my eyes, But this team was able to finish it.

This is no knock on Bluefield, but overall the competition in the WV playoffs is nowhere near what Virginia is. The bracket depth is just not there.

They may not win the title every year, but in my opinion region D is the toughest to get out of because it's the strongest seeds 1-4 every year. Whoever wins it is going to punch you in the mouth.

Richlands hasn't beat Graham since snake came on staff. That's a pretty good indication.

The 1989 team is the one this team reminds me of the most. Not explosive......just solid everywhere. In my opinion last year is all the motivation this Graham team needs. Central better be ready.

No one plays press on them. They're going to have trouble throwing it on Graham. And they give up a lot of rushing yards to teams that are at least decent.

Just like Appomattox vs Radford......one team hopes to win. The other expects to. We've been here with both results. Lasts years pain fuels this team. Graham by 10+.

Smith record is 109-27 that's an 80.4% win percentage. I'm not counting games he did not coach.So he's not getting 5. Palmer is 85-16 that's over 84% win percentage. Only thing he has is titles, and that's fair. For now.

He has 4. He didn't coach the spring 21 squad.

Take away year one it's 79-10

Smiths record vs Palmer is now 1-2. Probably only coach he has a losing record to.
