That is what I thought. I agree with you also - let the wrestlers decide who wins. It is a shame for Evan.. but it is State.. you just never know. There were a few bad calls this past weekend for several wrestlers.

evan had a good first round. second round he forgot to put his mouthpiece in. they deducted a point and it cost him the match.. he'll work hard and come back next year.

it was a great match... and at least he had the integrity and respect to stay on the blocks long enough for the press to get pictures. some SWD coaches should teach their athletes to be more respectable.. shaking hands with other coaches, throwing headgear etc. should not be tolerated. winning isn't everything and it's not the only thing that makes a great athlete. college coaches look for more than just the winner.. who wants a disrespectful athlete on their team. other teams don't "hate" you because you win, they don't "respect" you because of the attitude the team displays.

anyone think that it was justin's decision to go to liberty! although D1 is great, it isn't always the best choice for the athlete. it was justin's decision to go to TCC&TC not the faculty of RHS. sometimes it is better for the student/athlete to select a smaller school. congrats justin, you will do an outstanding job at liberty... they are lucky to have you!
