  1. 3 and a half hours!!! I'm so pumped. Watched GameDay, and Corso, Herbie, and Bo all picked VT. Their reasoning? LT. Let's hope they are right!! Go HOKIES!!
  2. This has been a fun 10 days of banter. Mega huge game. I love that this rivalry finally has a little "spark" to it. Win or lose, let's hope for a great game. An ibjury free game. And a good day tomorrow. I'll be in the chat box as per usual for the game. See youns tomorrow!!!
  3. He did have 300. 303 and 5 tds is what they said.
  4. Congrats to CS. I'll say this, Wright is the best back I've seen in high school with my own two eyes, EVER. He is a beast, and why no FBS teams are recruiting him? I gave no idea. As for the game, we should have won. We shot ourselves in the foot all night. Went up quick then had the onside. Firstly, questionable as to weather you go for it there, but I liked the call. Secondly, we had it set up, the ball just flatly didn't bounce at all. mistake 1 On our second offensive drive, we had a 3rd down converted, only to be called back because of holding. That stalled the drive completely. Punt. CS score. mistake 2 Todd McGlothlan going out on the first series KILLED us. Who would have thought? He was a key part of the Defensive gameplan at end, and it let Cave double and triple AJ, knowing we didn't have a big "go-to guy" on offense. 21-14. Cave kicks off, and AJ fumbles it. Cave scores. 28-14. mistake 3 After half, we have Cave with a 4th and 2ish, they go to a hard count, and draw us offsides. Sets up a Td for Wright. mistake 4 On another Cave drive, we tackle their ball carrier, everyone hears whistles, I look at my phone, look back up and another Cave guy is running 30 yards upfield. Anyone in radioland have an explanation on that one?? I was extremely confused. Everyone around me heard a whistle. With 5 to go, we have a 30 yard pass down the middle to the 9 where AJ fumbles it. Looked to me like he was held before he caught the ball, but it is what it is. mistake 5 So credit to Cave for weathering the storm, but we should have won. Had opportunities. But 3 turnovers and lack of execution killed us. Oh well. Congrats Blues on one helluva season. Get in the weight room Monday, and let's get ready for 2012.
  5. My top 2 have remained the same for quite some time. The other 3 can fluctuate.
  6. Love that band and song. Still to this day the best all around concert I've ever been to. Great music, they sounded better live than on cd, and their pyro and stage show was amazing. Plus, seeing it in The Garden didn't hurt. :)
  7. I have been at work since 1.....at least I get off at 11. But I still won't get home till 12ish.
  8. I consider GW to be a SWVA school. I consider the end of SWVA to be where 81 and 77 split at exit 77.
  9. Just a fun little discussion. What are your top five favorite songs that you love?? Here's mine: 5- Sad But True- Metallica Thanks to BigD for getting me into Metallica at a very young age. We used to jam some Metallica on the way to and fro' VT Football games circa 02-05. Really jumpstarted my love for Tallica as well as VT. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8BRbM52gpc 4-Helter Skelter- The Beatles My all time favorite Beatles song. This song is so completely different from any other song in the Beatles tracklisting. And the only reason it is so heavy, is becaus McCartney wanted to upstage The Who, who had been quoted as saying that "I Can See For Miles" was the heaviest song ever at the time. Great song, even if the lyrics are about a slide... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMfkVGCU_BA 3- Come As You Are- Nirvana What's not to like about this song?? The opening guitar riff just moves me for some reason. Easily my favorite Nirvana song by a long shot. And I'm sure BigD will shoot me down for it. ;) 2- Shake Me Like A Monkey- Dave Matthews Band Carter Beuford, the drummer of DMB, is one of my heros. And his drumming is some of the most technical I've ever seen. The horns on this song compliment everything about this groovy little ditty. And of course Daves lyrics and delivery are like no other. 1- Critical Acclaim- Avenged Sevenfold My favorite song by my favorite band. Of course it's going to be number 1, right?? Lol. This is the song that A7X have used as their opener since the album came out in 07, and it's been my favorite ever since. Something about the organ intro, along with the lyrics backing our troops and hating on the people who don't support them, and the vocals from the The Rev (drummer, deceased) during the chorus, all make this my favorite song of all time. It's been played over 350 times on my iTunes, and the next closest is in the 100s. (BTW, get to see them for the 13th time on Tuesday in Pikeville with VIP passes. Pumped doesn't even begin to describe it.) Album: Live:
  10. Quite an inspiring young man. Really love his story. And I look forward to hopefully seeing him in some action tomorrow night!!
  11. Yes to the first part!! Boo for the second part (Cowboys).
  12. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! Hope it's a wonderful day for all.
  13. You'll change your tune by the time you get off tomorrow. Lol.
  14. I think starting Friday, I'm going to start riding my bike at least 2 miles a morning. As well as cut back on my servings, and try to get a few power snacks in (some sort of healthy snack bar) when I can't eat. I already drink a lot of water, so thats not a real problem. So we will see how this goes.
  15. I went on the trip to Walmart last year jsut to see what it was like. At 4 am, there were people lined all the way around the entire store. You couldn't move. Even for this area, it's extremely bad.
  16. I have no idea what to do in a Gym or weightroom. And I have pretty much no friends that work anything like the same schedule that I do. And doing it with someone is much more enjoyable, and would make it worthwhile.
  17. I voted Luck, though I think RGIII should get it.
  18. I actually don't eat McDonalds all that much. The most is usually twice a week. Maybe more if I'm going out of town on a trip or something special like that. While I do love grilled chicken, I absolutely hate salads. The smell of Ranch dressing alone makes me puke buckets. And that fact alone makes me hate salads. I can't even look at one without thinking of Ranch. (Plus I don't like pretty much every vegetable known to man). I've thought about that no carb diet. Our drummer went on it for 3 weeks in the summer, and dropped 20-25 lbs. But he said it's hard to keep that one up, since you can't really have anything to eat. So I really don't know what to do.
